Reasons For Losing Weight
If you and I were to ask anyone why they wanted to lose weight, the chances are they’d say they wanted to look good.

Would you agree?

Perhaps a few would say to feel more confident. Maybe even a few would say to feel good.

And while there’s nothing wrong with losing weight to feel good and look good…

…these are tiny reasons when we think about the health implications of being overweight.

Did you know that most people don’t understand (or know) that being overweight causes health issues.

Don’t Just Take My Word For It.
I found this short video that explains everything in more detail about the health issues caused by being overweight.

I know that when you watch this, you’ll be as shocked as I was when I heard the opening few lines of the video.

It won’t take long to watch.

Here’s A Brief Summary

Here’s a very brief summary of some the issues caused from being overweight:
-Some cancers
-High blood pressure
-Diabetes
-Stokes
-Heart disease

These are just some of the major issues that can be stopped or even reversed, just from losing a few extra pounds.

10 Weight Loss Tips For Women

Each of these 10 weight loss tips for women that you’re about to read can have a huge impact on how much fat you could lose.

And given the health implications of being overweight, there’s never been a better time to shift that stubborn fat, right?

1 – Low Carbohydrate Breakfast
Using a low carbohydrate breakfast as a means of losing weight, is one of the most powerful weight loss tips you could use for yourself.

It’s not uncommon for people who switch from a high carbohydrate breakfast to a low carbohydrate breakfast to lose up to 12 pounds in the first week.

People report feeling more energised and motivated to continue losing weight than they’ve ever done before.

The main reason for this dramatic change is your fat storing hormone, insulin, is kept low in the mornings.

This makes it easier for your body to burn its own fat for energy.

Plus, it’s easier for your body to flush out the stored water and toxins that have built up inside your fat and muscle cells.

A low carbohydrate breakfast is one of the many tips I provide inside the Flat Belly Plan for losing belly fat.

2 – High Protein Breakfast
Given that you’ve removed sugary carbohydrates from your breakfast…

…you’ll need to find the extra calories from somewhere to ensure you’re full after you eat.

This is where protein steps up.

Eating a moderate to high amount of protein will help you lose weight in two different ways.

1 – Appetite
A high protein breakfast is known to suppress appetite more than eating a high fat or high carbohydrate meal.

2 – Boosts Metabolism
More protein in your diet, especially at breakfast can increase your metabolism by up to 100 calories a day.

When you combine these two, it’s easy to see why you’d lose weight using this weight loss tip.

You’re eating less and burning up to 100 calories more per day.

3 – Coffee

Adding one or two cups of coffee into your day can actually make a huge difference to your weight loss.

Believe it or not, the caffeine in your coffee actually helps with the process of fat burning.

In other words…

…it helps make the fat burning process in your body run more efficient.

4 – Don’t Get Obsessed
If you’re losing weight the right way and you’re experiencing a significant amount of fat coming off you…

…it’s very easy to get caught up with weighing yourself everyday.

And while this is exciting for some people…

…for others it can lead to stress levels increasing from putting unneeded pressure on themselves to always lose a certain amount each day.

This obsession will increase cortisol.

And when this happens, losing weight now becomes very difficult.

5 – Sleep

Probably the most underutilised weight loss tips for women.

For some reason no one ever seems to tell women they need to get a better nights sleep if they want to lose weight.

Sleeping for around 6-8 hours is essential if you’re looking to lose weight.

If sleep is less than this, or interrupted throughout the night, your hormones are out of balance.

Lack of sleep in women is known to promote overeating the following morning – especially overeating on sugary foods.

6 – More Soluble Fibre
By eating a variety of low gi fruits and veggies you’ll be eating more soluble fibre.

And it’s this type of fibre that’s known help burn fat easier – especially belly fat.

It’s one of the main reasons why the approved food list within my Flat Belly Plan contains so many choices of foods that have this fibre.

7 – Eat Slowly

The speed at which you eat your food can directly impact how much weight you lose or how much weight you gain.

The faster you eat, the more likely it is you’ll overeat.

And on top of that, you’re not giving your body a chance to absorb or digest the nutrients you’re eating

On the other hand, slowly eating your food is one of the best weight loss tips for women.

You’re less likely to overeat. And you’ll give you body a chance to tell you when you’re full too.

8 – Drink Water Before Meals
Did you know that this one simple act of drinking water around 30 minutes before eating can help you lose weight?

Well, this is exactly what this study found.

In fact, the study reported that participants lost an average of 44% more weight when drinking water before eating meals.

9 – Eat More Fat Loss Foods
There are certain foods that can actually help you lose weight faster if you ate the then if you didn’t.

Foods such as:
-Chilli peppers
-Coconut oil
-Avocados
-Nuts
-All whole proteins
-Ginger

Each of these foods acts in different ways inside, but the end result of all is more fat burning.

Mixing up your current diet to include foods such as these is a great way to support your overall health, and of course, your weight loss goals.

If you’d like a plan than provides a full list of these foods and explains how much of everything to eat, go here.

10 – Avoid Juicing
Juicing foods can be a super healthy way of getting nutrients into your body. There’s no doubting that.

However, when foods are juiced or blended they lose their original structure.

The fibre and other minerals can end up being removed during this process. And what you’ll end up with is simply a sugary drink.

And it’s this excess sugar that sends your insulin into overdrive, and puts and fat burning on hold.

Eat whole foods whenever possible and you’ll do just fine.
